since you're new cassandra, suggest reading docs on , on - doing in test environment first. while upgrades straight forward (depending on node count , amount of data), there's no real easy way of reverting cassandra 2.1 (dse 4.7) cassandra 2.0 (dse 4.6). make sure have snapshots of sstables dse 4.6 before proceeding.
